Many of the members of our Torrance gym love coffee - and what's not to love! It's delicious, warm (or cold), and caffeinated!
There are many coffee shops in Torrance, but not all of them are created equal. In this blog post, we will highlight the top 4 coffee shops in the city. These coffee shops offer delicious coffee and tea drinks, as well as great food options.
They also have comfortable seating areas and ample space to work if you need to get some work done. So, if you're looking for a great cup of coffee or tea, be sure to check out one of these coffee shops!
1. Corridor Flow Coffee
24614 Narbonne Ave, Lomita, CA 90717
While Corridor Flow technically is in Lomita, we're still adding it to our Torrance City Guide because it's about 1 mile from our gym.
Corridor Flow is the best coffee shop in all of Torrance area for the co-worker. They actually have a dedicated co-working space with ample seating, a phone booth, conference tables, and power outlets at almost every seat.
If you pay the modest co-working fee, you get a $10 credit at the coffee bar. It's literally the first co-working space that gives you such a perk.
The coffees and espresso drinks at Corridor Flow are top notch. The staff is hands down the most friendly I've experienced (they will know your name by the 3rd visit and welcome you when you walk in.... I promise).
They specialize in unique foods, often of Filipino background. From ube cheese breads to ube ice cream - Corridor Flow is a great option for coffee, tea, working and snacks!
1. Offset Coffee
24416 Crenshaw Blvd #1, Torrance, CA 90505
Offset Coffee is a favorite coffee shop of our gym members because it's so close to our gym. This coffee shop is known for its delicious coffee and tea drinks, as well as some amazing (and fast) food options.
Although there is not much seating at Offset Coffee, there are often a few workers there, posted up at their few tables. This is a small shop located along a popular and busy area of Crenshaw (near Home Depot and Costco).
Offset offers seasonal drinks that are always a hit with customers. From the standards of pumpkin lattes, and peppermint mochas to the obscure like an espresso rosemary fizz. These drinks are always amazing and sure to please coffee lovers of all kinds!
2. Caffe Tre Venezie
3525 CA-1 unit b, Torrance, CA 90505
Caffe Tre Venezie is a hidden treat that I didn't know about for the longest time. It is situated almost hidden in plain sight in the middle of a large strip mall in South Torrance.
This coffee shop is family owned and operated, and it really shows in the coffee. It's Italian influenced and the coffee and food clearly reflect the Italian heritage of the ownership.
The coffee here is some of the best I've ever had, and it's no wonder that they have won multiple awards for their coffee roasting. They also offer a wide variety of tea, as well as some great breakfast pastries.
3. Sidecar Doughnuts and Coffee
2549-B Rolling Hills Plaza, Pacific Coast Hwy, Torrance, CA 90505
Feeling like a cheat day is coming up? Sidecar donuts might be right up you alley. This Santa Monica based donut chain opened up their Torrance location in late 2017 and they have been a hit ever since.
While coffee is delicious here, the real star of the show are the donuts. They have some really inventive flavors like a Dulche de Leche Churro Donut or my personal favorite "The Basil Egg Benedict" which is a donut with an egg and ham baked into it (amazing!)
Although Sidecar has great donuts, they actually have a great and legit coffee operation inside as well. They make small batch coffee and espresso drinks that are absolutely on par with any boutique coffee shop.
4. Pinwheel Cafe & Bakery
2553 Pacific Coast Hwy, Torrance, CA 90505
So far, we've highlighted an Italian coffee shop and a donut shop, this time it's a French bakery with amazing coffee service.
Pinwheel is a small, but mighty coffee shop with some of the best coffee in town. They make all of their coffee drinks to order, so it takes a little longer than your typical coffee chain.
To go alongside your coffee enjoy fresh baked pastries or bread (not the healthiest, but we'll look the other way!) or enjoy some French Eggs (my personal favorite)
Pinwheel is located in the Rolling Hills Plaza, and it's actually across the parking lot from Sidecar Doughnuts, so you can get both in one day if that suits you!
Coffee Lovers Love Torrance
As you can see, coffee lovers are spoiled for choice in Torrance. With so many great coffee shops to choose from, it's hard to go wrong! Be sure to check out one of these coffee shops the next time you're in town!
When traveling, we encourage our coaches and gym emmbers to check out other coffee shops and report back to us. A member visited this gym in Cypress, TX and told us the Torrance coffee scene is much better! Go Torrance!
